Who is Email Handyman?

Not Who but What?

Email Handyman is not a person but a concept for on-the-job training where "more effective use of email" is the main topic.

You can read more about the founder of Email Handyman below, let's have a look at how the workshops are organised. Often, the customer has special requirements leading to customisation of the content to match company specific needs, goals or existing policies. This is a swift process and not expensive at all. We would be happy to discuss these options during an mutual introduction.

Typically the Email Handyman workshops are provided in two formats (available in Dutch and English):

Blitzworkshops - The Blitzworkshops are group based (10-20) and take approximately 1.5 hours. During the presentation and demonstrations you will learn about the Getting Things Done action folders, keyboard shortcuts, productivity tricks and when to use email or as important when not to use email. The weekly team-meeting is a perfect event to use for the Blitzworkshop, this way the impact on resources is kept to a minimum. The workshops can be organised in-house or off-site and require no special (IT) resources.

@yourdesk sessions - This is a very effective way to review the existing "workstyle" and habits regarding email and provide personal advice regarding areas that can be improved. Advice typically is implemented on the spot which means the user has immediate results and benefits. The @yourdesk sessions are 1.5 hours but can be tailor made.

By Who?

Portrait Richard WolfeEmail Handyman was founded by Richard Wolfe, owner of Wolfe Business Development and entrepreneur in several IT, Internet and Telecom related companies. Richard is not a typical "IT professional" or "Corporate Trainer". During his career he has been constantly involved with his personal effectivity as office worker and manager, but also with the productivity of his team members and other co-workers.

His interest in information technology started at a young age and has been the common thread of his career. Yet he believes there is something a lot more important than technology, being the people that need to use the technology

Richard has spent many years both in training and developing training material and concepts. He is the co-founder of iWorkSmart in the Netherlands and collaborates with several professionals from the industry to develop and improve the Email Handyman concept.
