Welcome to the Email Handyman website. We are about corporate effectivity through training and consulting on email, use of email and non-use of email. We use a very pragmatic approach to enable you to pick and choose from several handy tricks that make daily email processing easier and faster. Resulting in an empty inbox and more "back to work" hours on a daily basis.

So why do email training? Everyone knows how to write and send emails don't they? Of course they do, and we do this so well that nowadays every office worker spends several hours a week simply processing incoming email and trying to organise the results of the ever increasing flow of emails. There are good reasons to invest a little time into yourself to improve how we do this, to name a few: 

  • Email has become the number one killer application in the office environment. It is by far the most used application and is of crucial importance to all organisations, yet it has become more than that, it is now also the "productivity killer application" and is still growing as a time-management problem area.
  • Though email is one of our most important tools in the office very little attention has been spent on how to use this tool effectively. This means there is plenty of area for improvement!

Email Handyman has two preferred services to improve your effectivity, the blitzworkshops and @yourdesk sessions.

Blitzworkshops: short group-based workshops presented on- or offsite. The workshops cover both personal effectivity for managing email and best practice examples for sending email. This workshop is tailored towards the email program (commonly) used in your organisation.

@yourdesk sessions: one-on-one sessions at your own desk. During the session your current workstyle is reviewed and the advice is based on how to improve from there taking current habits and skills into consideration. The improvements are implemented immediately on the spot.
